The paper reports a study on plasmon-assisted PL enhancement in CsPBr3 nanocrystals. Efforts were paid to the clarification of underlying
Physical mechanisms by using time-resolved PL measurements and femtosecond laser pump-probe methods. While the big picture seems
to be correct, more details and discussion are needed , these include:
- In CsPbBrs, both exciton and bi-exciton could be excited, however, in current paper only exciton has been considered. Can the authors please add literature and discuss about it, for example, DOI: 10.1021/acs.jpclett.8b03098
- Time evolution of PL over a longer time period is not shown and discussed. For example, what will happen for a measurement lasting for 400 seconds, has the authors done such measurement, how stable is the PL and did you see any blink? Please elaborate or discuss about it.
- In paragraph beneath Fig.3, it says ’To further quantiverly describe the PL dynamics, a bi-exponentioal function…..was exploited to fit…’, here, I wish to see in supplementary how such fitting was done, what is the A1 and A2 values.From there, can authors discuss about which mechanism is dominant, radiative or non-radiative, what is rough weighting between them?
- In Fig. 2(a), can you please mark the exciton-absorption peak position as mentioned in text?
- Typo: paragraph beneath Fig. 2, ‘Therefore, steady-stale PL’, should be steady-state
