Abstract
We report on the inscription of fiber Bragg grating in perfluorinated polymer optical fiber (CYTOP) by femtosecond pulses laser at 400 nm with phase mask technique and at 800 nm with two direct inscription methods: point-by-point and line-byline. We analyze the stability of the gratings after inscription and study their sensing properties. To discriminate between the properties of the CYTOP fiber and the influence of the over-clad, we consider gratings produced in CYTOP fiber with and without the over-clad, and we determine their sensitivities to temperature, humidity and strain.

Eisteddfod 2022 (July 30 – Aug 6)

Ceredigion National Eisteddfod 2022

One of Europe’s largest cultural festivals will be coming to Ceredigion in August 2022. Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru / National Eisteddfod of Wales will be held in Tregaron from 30 July until 6 August 2022.

The National Eisteddfod is a celebration of Welsh culture, a mix of talent competitions and evening concerts, gigs, plays and exhibitions; and in the main pavilion there are colourful and unique ceremonies.

On July 1, 2022, the 40-minute time limit on group meetings will be reinstated on your Zoom Meetings Basic account.

Dear Valued Customers,

Our records indicate that you are using a free version of Zoom Meetings without the 40-minute time limit for Basic accounts.

To address global efforts and in support of primary and secondary (K-12) education during the pandemic, Zoom temporarily lifted the 40-minute time limit. This program is now concluding on June 30, 2022, as most students have returned to in-person instruction.

What does that mean for you? Starting on July 1, 2022, your Zoom Meeting account will automatically revert to the Zoom Meetings Basic plan. Meet as often as you would like for up to 40 minutes with no limit to the number of meetings you can host.
